‘Residents need not pay for reconnection with new sewage lines’

IMG-20170408-WA0024BWSSB department has taken up the work of replacing old sewage lines to the bigger diameter all over the 6th block and the work started in the mid month of March 2017. While changing the sewage lines the labourers and workers were demanding an amount of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 for reconnecting the existing sewage lines per house. In this regard the 6th Block RWA had given a complaint to Chairman of BWSSB and in the meantime also arranged a meeting between the residents and Corporator M Chandrappa., BWSSB Assistant Engineer Mohan and contractor who has taken up the work in 6th block Koramangala.
Corporator and AE Mohan cleared all the doubts for the residents that supply of PVC pipes and fittings which is necessary to connect from compound wall of the house to the sewage lines which is being laid currently.
So Corporator clearly specified to the residents not to pay a single rupee to anyone if anybody demands for the money please call to me or call AEE Lakshmikanth 9845444121 or AE Mohan 9845444056 they will do the needful
