The three day State ranking shuttle badminton tournament for U10 Boys and Girls held at the Koramangala Club came to an end on November 30.
The first day saw the inauguration by lighting of the lamp by the Club Treasurer Pradeep Kumar and this was followed by first round of matches. Around 158 participants took part in the sports meet. Boys & girls singles & doubles matches were conducted. Club management organized lunch, soft drinks, biscuits sponsored by Britannia.
Other sponsors were BOSCH, Transpade engineering, System domain, Metis, and shuttle members. On the final day Club President P A Shetty and Secretary C Rajendra gave inspiring talks to the children.
The chief guest Varsha Belavadi, India’s no 5 and Karnataka no 1 in women’s doubles champion, gave away the prizes. The event was organized by Club sports chairman BG Kapanipathi. Parents and children were delighted about the arrangement of the event.
