Nadasurabhi Cultural Association’s monthly concert is on Sunday, 21st January 2018 at 4.15 pm at The Indian Heritage Academy Hall in 6th Block, Koramangala.
It is a grand Carnatic Vocal Concert by Vidwan T.N.S.Krishna.
He will be accomapnied by Vidwan B.Raghuram on the Violin, Vidwan Tumkur B Ravishankar on the Mridangam, Vidushi Sukanya Ramgopal on the Ghatam.
TNS Krishna is son and disciple of Vidwan Madurai TN Seshagopalan who is a trend setter in carnatic music. Krishna has been following the foot steps of his father and has been performing in prestigious platforms including Nadasurabhi for more than a decade. He has won several awards and accolades from Madras Music Academy and several other organisations.
Krishna is an engineer and a post graduate in management from premier institutes and now a senior manager in a MNC. He is balancing his profession and passion admirably.
The accompanying artists Raghuram and Ravishankar are senior Karnataka artists who have accompanied many artists on the Nadasurabhi stage over the years. Special mention is to be made of the contribution of Smt. Sukanya Ramgopal, who is the first lady percussionist to be awarded the Sangeet Natak Academy Award by the Central government. She has done the state of Karnataka and the entire rasika community proud by this unique achievement.
