As usual this month also Spoorthy Mahila Sangha gathering was on first Tuesday and the early bird was Jyothsna. All the members were enthusiasticly waiting to start an interesting ad unique theme of rangoli using pulses and grains. It was very nice to see rangoli patterns and designs done by members
Jewellery making with paper was the second competition. Jewellery and women no need to tell the combination and it was the new ideas of jewellery making from each member. Each participant became a jewellery designer.
It was a pair competition, while the other member was a model for the jewellery they designed; they showed it with the ramp walk.
The winners of rangoli competition are: Navya got first prize, while the second prize was tie between Reshma and Tharini; and Girija got the third.
Consolation prizes went to Sudha and Preethi

2nd prize Usha and Reshma
3rd prize Jyothsna and Aruna
Consolation prizes went to Chandhrakala and Girija; Vijaya and Preethi
The prize distribution will be on January 9, 2018 during the annual day function.
