Scouting for a woman who is a beautiful blend of intellect, sass and oomph, Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva – Miss Universe India 2017 continued with the Bengaluru round of auditions that was empowered by United Colors of Benetton,
The event was held at Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru that came onboard as the hospitality and venue partner. More than 80 contestants came for the auditions, with a total of seven finalists shortlisted for the Mumbai auditions. This time small town divas made a mark in this year’s pageant.
Gracing the occasion as judges were Miss Supranational 2014 Asha Bhat, Mr India 2015 1st Runner-up Rahul Rajasekharan, alongside Sandalwood actress Ragini Dwivedi and fashion guru Prasad Bidapa.
With Former Miss Universe and Bollywood Actor Lara Dutta as the mentor, the search finally begins for a girl who embodies beauty and beyond and has the spirit to conquer the universe. The Gorgeous Lara Dutta said,“I am looking forward to be a part of this exciting journey of finding the country’s next Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2017. The auditions will travel to 10 cities across the country in its quest to find a girl who is a perfect representation of Indian beauty and is a blend of elegance, confidence, poise, intelligence and the right attitude”.
The themes will be designed and judged on various parameters ranging from ramp walk, perfect body, communications skills and more.

United Colors of Benetton, a socially committed fashion group, has partnered with the pageant to empower the contestants under the Women Empowerment Program, an initiative in accordance with the United Nations.
The seven finalists will now be fast-tracked to the final round of auditions, to be held in Mumbai on September 7.
