On Sunday March 5, Koramanagala 6th block Residents’ Welfare Association had a members meeting and President Jayaramu along with MC members gave progress report done for the welfare of the society during the past 10 months. In the meeting some members requested to concentrate about desilting work which is pending on 17th F, F1, F2, F3 and 17th A1, A2, A3, 6th E, F and G Cross, and also name boards of roads and crosses. The President also explained regarding the concreting of 6th Cross Road.
Regarding bwssb, many members raised issues of sewage blockages on 17th A and D main roads 6th E, F and G cross also due to commercial establishments on Club Road. In this regard, the President assured to take up the issue to the concerned department and do the needfull.
Resident Amit Gupta has complained regarding about commercialisation which is up coming very fast on 18th main and 5th cross. In this regard, Praful Pillay and Rajiv Ramana explained the effects of commercialisation in Koramangala 6th block and they told that lot of ground work has been done and the report is submitted to BBMP officials and Commissioner against commercial establishments.
E-waste awareness programme had been conducted during the members meet and Mrs Manvel Alur from ENSYDE had explained how to dispose the E-Waste materials. Dr Ramdas gave an awareness on solar panels and requested the RWA to conduct a programme or workshop.
