Children get school uniforms

Koramangala 3rd Block Residents’ Welfare Association has a yearly walkathon event where prizes are given to contestants in running and walking competitions. The money collected from conducting this event is used for charity purposes. This money is normally given to government schools and one requiremnet specified by the school is satisfied by the RWA. This year the schools chosen were Tamil-Kannada Primary Schools situated in Rajendranagar. Uniforms were provided to around 200 children.
The Assciation is actively involved in working along with Lions Club of BTM Nightingales. Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy started of the event of distribution of uniforms.
Ln Chamundeshwari Reddy, along with the other members of the Club were present. Former nominated Councillor Sampath, Adugodi Ward Corporator Manjula Sampathkumar, nominated Councillor Ashok Reddy and Koramangala Block Congress President Govardhan Reddy others took part. Members of 3rd Block community were Vishwanath Kashyap, Ravindra Rama Rao, Chitra Talwar, Anil and Sonali, Hema Sriram and others.
