Rotary Koramangala conducts health camps to kids

The Rotary year 2017-18 started with continuous Projects. Blood Donation Camp on 1st July, Pediatric Camp on 2nd July at Rajendranagar slum where 145 children were checked up and tonics were given free. Follow up will be done by Clinic run by Swabhiman Trust.
Pediatric Camp was conducted on July 2 by Rotary Club of Bangalore Koramangala at Rajendranagar slum, Koramangala. Three Pediatricians, Dr Meenakshi from Koramangala,, Dr Anand and Dr Geethanjalii Rebello from St John’s Hospital checked 145 children and free medicines, calcium and iron syrup were distributed by Rotary Koramangala. Members of Inner Wheel volunteered for the camp. Camp was organised with the help of Venkat of Swabhiman Trust.
Besides this, the Rotary District Mega Eye Health Camp organised by Dr Rtn Ravi Kumar of RCBK, 300 Children from Govt High School Madiwala were checked up by Globe Eye Hospital. 45 spectacles will be distributed free to the children and one girl has been referred to the hospital for further check up. On 4th July Rotary interact Club at Sophia was installed.
The 23 year old Sophia School Interact Club of Rotary Koramangala was installed by Dist 3190. Attended by Dist Chairman and Dy Chairman Interact. Dist 3190.
