Samskruthi Ladies’ Association (SLA) met on the 16th of July at the Indian Heritage Academy. Meeting started with the prayer and National anthem. Announcements were made by Ms. Malini Kandige.
Competitions due on the 3rd August is postponed to the 7th of September, 17/8 will have Independence day special, quiz and group patriotic songs. Birthday girls were cheered and wished by the members as they cut the cake.
The programme for the day”Dance Therapy” was conducted by charming fecilitator Ms. Tasneem Jiruwala, who kept the members engaged and entertained individually, as pairs and groups. She stressed the importance of keeping oneself happy and positive that would assure good health.
The members swayed to her melodious tunes and shared their experiences as the session ended. It was a well attended program. Next meeting is on the 20th of July – “Samskruthi Mela” @ IHA.
