Health Hazard due to stagnation of Garbage in SWD

Residents of Koramangala ST Bed are facing a major health hazard due to dumping and stagnation of garbage in the Storm Water Drain. This has led to enormous increase in House flies and mosquitoes which would spread epidemic diseases. Many small children and elderly residents are prone to this menace. “We have reached out to the authorities but no respite”, said Prasad (Jt Sec of ST Bed RWA ) who has been tirelessly persuading this problem with the concerned authorities. “As this situation is grave we are spending sleepless nights and want this issue resolved”, he added.
The RWA along with its President Rajendra Babu, Secretary Dr Prakash Reddy, Joint Secretary Prasad and ex VP Ananthram met Transport Minister and area MLA Ramalinga Reddy and informed about the gravity of the situation.
