Exaclty one week ago on Friday night a huge tree was cut by miscreants and the efforts of an youth to stop it failed and this was reported in City Kemp. The incident had taken place at the end of 19th Main Road close to Anand Sweets. The 6th Block RWA too had taken objections, besides the members of whatsapp group.
Later some of the members had complained to the BBMP Forest department who inspected the spot and took necessary steps which resulted in planting of these three saplings.
“On Monday morning one could see the three planted saplings. And this could a lesson to others who indulge in such activities”, said a resident from the block.
