Silver Generation Group of Raheja Residency Apartments, Koramangala, in collaboration with the Rotary TTK Blood Bank organized a blood donation camp at the Raheja Residency Club House on Saturday, 16th January. In addition to the blood donation programme, donors were asked to subscribe to the Blood Stem Cell Registry. Registration in the Stem Cell Registry will be a boon to patients with Leukemia, Lymphoma and Thalassemia who need stem cell treatment.
About 50 donors from Raheja Residency and other areas of Koramangala participated in the camp and many among them volunteered to register in the Stem Cell Registry as well. The next camp will be organized in the month of August and organizers are hoping for greater response from citizens for this worthy cause
