The multipurpose hall (1st & 2nd floor) constructed on the Library Building at Swabhimana Park, 4th Block, Koramangala, under MLA Local Area Development Fund, was inaugurated on Nov 30, by Ramalinga Reddy, Minister for Transport, Government of Karnataka, in the presence of B N Manjunatha Reddy, Mayor Bengaluru, and M Chandrappa, Corporator, Ward No. 151, Koramangala.
GM Shetty, President of RWA, while welcoming the guests has appreciated the work done on the instructions from the Minister.
He has also highlighted the interest shown by the Minister in completion of various work in his constituency and mentioned that he is a man of masses and therefore is continuously elected as MLA for the sixth time in a cosmopolitan city like Bengaluru, which has been achieved by very few politicians of our country.
Shetty, also while welcoming BN Manjunatha Reddy, Mayor, has mentioned that he is elected as Corporator for 4th time from Madiwala Constituency and in recognition of his services rendered, he is elected as Mayor of Bengaluru. Shetty has highlighted that Manjunatha Reddy is the 1st person to be elected as Mayor, from BTM Constituency.
Further, Shetty, has welcomed M Chandrappa, Corporator, ward No. 151, Koramangala, who has been elected as Corporator with a thumping majority and he is taking keen interest in tackling all the problems in the ward.
Shetty, has also handed over a copy of a letter addressed to the present Bengaluru Development Minister, K J George, regarding water-logging in the 5th Cross and other adjoining areas due to over flowing of main storm water drain, together with the list of work to be tackled in 4th Block, to the Minister and Mayor.
Shetty, thereafter, welcomed Govardhan Reddy, President, Koramangala Block Congress, Yogesh, AEE, BBMP, Srinivas, AEE, ZP and appreciated their work and cooperation in completion of the building. Shetty, has also welcomed all the presidents and other representatives of adjoining Resident Welfare Associations, apart from welcoming all the members of the 4th Block and also Adil, the contractor who constructed the building.
P K Cherian, Secretary of the Association conveyed vote of thanks to all the dignitaries and appreciated the cooperation in completion of the building.
