Abhik Biswas, a technology entrepreneur was inducted as president of Rotary Club of Bangalore Koramangala (RCBK) for the new Rotary year at the annual installation banquet held on Monday, at the Barleyz – The Brewhouse in Koramangala. Along with Abhik Biswas, the rest of the slate of officers were inducted by the District Governor Rtn KP Nagesh.
Other officers were elected as follows: Immediate Past President John Satish, President-elect Ashok Ramaswamy, Vice President Ganesh Prabhu, Secretary Nagabhushan Reddy, Joint Secretary Manoj Kumar, Treasurer Preetham Kumar, Club Service Director Pintoo Ganguly; Community Service Director Hari Venkatesh, Vocational Service Director Janet Yegneswaran, Youth Service Director Ahmed Ikram Khan, International Service Director Sethu Pon, Co-opted Director (Projects) Raghuram Subramaniam, and Sgt. at Arms Raja M.
While the world hopes for peace, Rotary International – a humanitarian service organization dedicated to world peace and understanding – works to make it a reality. Rotary Bangalore Koramangala is now in it’s 30th year of service to the community.
“We look forward to continue working in the community and more like minded people joining with us to make a difference to those less fortunate. Our projects this year will be in the areas of Education, Healthcare, Youth with a heavy focus on Avoidable Blindness.” is how the new President of Rotary Koramangala Rotarian Abhik Biswas talked about his year ahead.

The Charitable Trust of Rotary Bangalore Koramangla is now in it’s eleventh year and has taken up a huge eye care initiative with both local donors and donations from the Rotary Foundation.

l Dr Sethu Paul is actively engaged in Social Development sector
l Raja is an interior designer, civil contractor since 12 years, running exclusive retail outlets of multiple brands in Koramangala

l Dr Ravikumar, a Sustainability and Strategy consultant
Rotary brings together a global network of volunteer leaders dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.
