An Interschool Sports meet was organised by Koramangala Youth Welfare Association last week at the BBMP Playground in 5th Block.
The sports meet was inaugurated by Sowmya Reddy, Environmentalist & Secretary KPMCC along with Chandrappa – BBMP Corporator-Ward 151, Ashok Reddy – Nominated BBMP Corporator; Govardhan Reddy – Congress Block President; G Anil Kumar – Chairman DG Fabs Ltd, by lighting a lamp.
The programme was anchored by D M Veerabhadraiah, Principal PNS School.
The schools participated in Inter School Sports Meet were Sri Raghavendra English School, Neena English School, Holy Saint English School, PNS School, Lawrence School, and the Govt School Koramangala.
Events conducted were: Cricket For Boys, Throw Ball for Girls, Track Events, Shotput for Boys & Girls, Kabaddi.
Organising Committee: Umashankar B.C Secretary KYWA, NarayanSwamy T.N, Prathap Puttanna, Kishan Naik, V.Jagan, Ranjith, Chandru.
Results- Cricket: Winner – Neena English School; 1st Runners up: Lawrence School; 2nd Runners up: Sri Raghavendra English School
Throw Ball: Winner: PNS School; Runner : Holy Saint English School
The Prize Distribution will be on 26th Jan 2017 along with Republic Day celebrations at the same venue.
