June heralds the beginning of a new year at Samskruthi Ladies’ Association ,a new President and a new team brimming with ideas for an exciting and eventful year.
The previous year saw a spate of activities like competitions, picnics, demos and talks on various relevant topics.The Association’s commitment to helping the less fortunate, has been the driving force behind its fund raising activities. Its continuous project down the years ,is providing scholarships to 10 deserving girl students of 8th,9th and 10th of Franciscan School. Every year cash prizes are awarded to 3 toppers of 10th std of Franciscan School.This year they have lent finiancial aid to Project Rachana of Seva in Action-an NGO and honoured Narasimhamurthy and Jagdeesh,who have rendered immense service to the Association down the years.
The installation of the new committee is on the 4th of June 2015 at the Indian Heritage Academy at 11.30 am.This is followed by a cookery demo/talk on nutrition by Soulful Foods and an exciting quiz on cooking and food.
