This is because its central location and proximity to shopping malls, food joints, and commercial establishments operating at Koramangala. There are about six high schools in this ward. This ward was merged with BBMP limits during the year 1995 when the wards were increased to 100.
Simultaneously other problems cropped up. Though the ward was connected with Cauvery water line during 2006, the water owes of the residents never solved at many pockets.
