Koramangala 6th Block RWA honours Police

On 15th October 2017, Koramangala 6th Block residents felicitated to Pks of 6th block, Valve Men of BWSSB, Street Light Maintenance Dept, Heath Guys (Fogging and Spraying), and gardeners of 6th Block Parks total 70 members of various service providers who are contributing to a better quality of life for the residents.
Further the residents felt that the Police staff of Law and order (Beat Police) and Traffic police need to be recognized. So, the 6th Block RWA team invited Police personnel connected to the 6th Block for felicitation on 28th October 2017 Saturday @ 4pm in CA Site No 18, Library Building, ECO (BBMP) Park.
The event was started off with prayer by Smt. Archana Murthy and Mrs. Usha Ravindranath @ Uma. Mr. Jayaramu, President, of 6th Block RWA thanked to all the residents who have contributed voluntarily. He thanked Mrs. Geetha Devi for donating gifts to the Pourakarmikas of 5th and 8th block. He welcomed Mr. Rajiv Kumar Singh (Major) and Mr. Mulla. M.S (Rtd. ACP Traffic) as chief guests to the event.
Mr. Rajiv Kumar Singh spoke of the need to build a strong community and show our appreciation to various department staff who keeps the community safe. Mr. Mulla M.S recalled his stint as a Police Officer and wished his best to the Police department. Chandrappa Corporator was felicitated.
Mr. President honoured the chief guests.
Police Inspector Mr. Manjunath (Law and Order) addressed to the 6th Block Residents. Mr. Manjunath spoke about the increasing incidence of, Hi-Tech crimes and new challenges they are facing. He introduced 12 of the beat police dedicated to 6th block. He invited everyone to call the beat police when in need and they will respond at the earliest.
As most of the staff from police department were on active duty at the time of the event, the traffic police were presented with our token of appreciation first, followed by the Law and order team.
Mr. Akshaya. A editor of City Kemp was also felicitated by 6th Block RWA Treasurer Mr. Bindu Rao to show appreciation and recognizing all the efforts he is putting in to publishing and distributing the neighbourhood newspaper, City Kemp.
This was followed by a High Tea at the venue.
Koramangala 6th Block residents are very appreciative of all the efforts put in by the police in ensuring a safe neighbourhood. Hoping for a better co-ordination and quick resolution of any concerns raised by the residents, said Suresh N Gowda, Secretary of 6th Block RWA.
