On Friday, Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy along with Koramangala Ward 151 Corporator M Chandrappa and nominated Councillor Ashok Reddy performed puja for development works worth Rs 22 crore – improvement of drains and roads and asphalting of roads in 6th and 8th Blocks (Village). Ex-Mayor Manjuth Reddy, Corporator Manjunath, residents, RWA representatives from various blocks and BBMP officials were present.
“In BTM Constituency covering Koramangala ward gets a package of asphalting, improvement of drains from State Govt Funds Nagrothana Scheme (Package 1) on each and every road of 6th block; in Package 1 – 17th B, E, H, main roads, 5th A Cross, 7th Cross, 18th A, B, C, D, E, F, G, main roads and 6th A and B cross roads are covered. In this regard BWSSB dept has requested not to asphalt 6th B cross, 17th H main road 1st A Cross and 3rd A Cross roads need to change the sewage lines after changing the lines the asphalt will be done accordingly, said Suresh N Gowda, Secretary of 6th Block RWA.
