Sri Rama Seva Mandali in association with Indian Heritage Academy will be organising a vocal recital by Vidushi Kum. Bhumika Madhusudan.
She will be accomapanied by Vid, Vaibhav Ramani on the violin, Vid Sunil Subrahmanya on the mridangam. The concert will be held on Sunday June 25 at 4.30pm at the Indian Heritage Academy Hall in Koramangala 6th Block.

Bhumika Madhusudan is a versatile artist estarted perusing Carnatic Classical Music (Vocal) under the tutilage of Vid. S. Yashasvi seriously and sincerely at the tender age of 8 years.
Aged 16, she is studying I PU (Commerce) in Sri Kumaran Composite PU College. She has given more than 300 performances at many prestigious venues of South India. She is blessed to be accompanied by highly respected Senior Artists of the World at this age. She is the daughter of Lakshmi Madhusudan & Dr K Madhusudana.
Bhumika has won many State and National Level Carnatic Classical Music (Vocal) competitions.
She is a child Artist in All India Radio [AIR]. She has won many awards the most important are; ‘KALASHRI’ State Award for creative performance (Classical Music) from Balabhavan, Karnataka. Rotary Young Achievers’ Award for excellence in music from Rotary Cantonment. Karnataka Kala Chaitra from Bharatiya Lalitha Kala Samsthe. She has won in State Level Youth Concert Competition held at Mattur Hosahalli Sangeeth Sabha. She has won in State Level Concert Competition conducted by Indo-China Cultural Economic Council (ICEC) at Ravindra Kalakshetra.
She has participated in Kala Pratibhotsava Conducted by Department of Kannada and Culture and won in District and Zonal Levels. She has won in Jyothi Memorial Concert Competition. ‘ISKCON GOLD’ Award for three consecutive years. ‘BSNL’ Competitions first place in all four singing category etc.
Besides this, she has given concerts in many prestigious stages some of them are Bangalore Gayana Samaja-Music Conference, Chowdaiah Memorial – Music Festival, Malleswaram Sangeeth Sabha, (Fort High School, N.R Colony, Seshadripuram, Shankarpuram, Vani School – Ramanavami) ISKCON-Krishnastami, Chiguru- Kannada Bhavana, Bala Vedike – Bal Bavan, Sri Shringeri Shankar Mutt-Navarathri, Girinagar Sangeeth Sabha, Sri Avani Shankar Mutt – Navarathri, Adhamya Chethana, Devagiri Temple-Ramanavami, Raagigudda Temple-Hanuma Jayanthi, Bull Temple-Ganesha Chaturthi, Ravindra Kalakshetra, Kaivara -Guru Purnima, Indian Institute of World Culture, Purandara Mantapa, Gokale Institute and also she has performed at Mysore, Hassan-Ramanavami, Rudrapatnam-Sangeethotsava, Basavapatna, Agrahara-Ramanavami, Tirupathi – Swararagha Sudha, Chennai-Sangeeth Samrat, Mangalore-Sangeetha Parishat – Youth Festival, Udupi- Navarathri, Shringeri , Mysore Dasara during Navaratri, Kolar Dasara Ganeshotsava etc.
She has given Ragam Thanam Pallavi concert also at the age of 13 years.
To conclude Bhumika is very passionate about music and has taken it as her pursuit of a career in this Divine Art Form. Given right encouragement and opportunities to perform, Bhumika will emerge as one of leading artistes of our land.
