Yoga: Regular practice to realise its benefits

Yoga is an ancient science that systematically collates the methods for striving towards perfection in life. There are several aspects of practicing Yoga; purity in intensions, speech and actions; body/breath discipline, self-control and inward direction of energies seeking oneness with the infinite, immortal life principle.
In today’s context, Yoga is better known as a technique to maintain fitness and flexibility of the body and mind, by improving self-awareness of the practitioner. Evidence supports positive impact of regular Yoga practices in maintaining health and energy when one is well, and in optimizing health when one is suffering from a chronic life limiting conditions.
Mrs. Nirmala realized the benefits of Yoga after practicing for 17 years, which helped her personally to recover from asthma and arthritis and always wanted to share her experience for the benefit of others, which prompted her to take up teaching of Yoga.
I would love to express my gratitude deeply to my Guruji’s for their support and guidance. It is with their support I am able to take general Yoga as well as therapy classes. As a teacher it gives me lot of joy and happiness when I see my students benefit from Yoga and show improvements or recover from various ailments after under going therapy sessions. Yoga for me is a lifestyle choice which requires commitment and dedication and it requires regular practice to realize its benefits.
