Spoorthi Mahila Sangha welcomed all its members to celebrate world environment day held on 6th June 2017 after vacations. To cherish the members, SMS conducted few desi games like five stones, aliguli mane, chowka bhaara(non as Ludo games) and more which took them back to their precious childhood days. Members of SMS were exited and very happy. World environment day to SMS is very special, so celebration were also unique
Seed ball making was the topic held with the guidelines of Mrs. Krupa from HSR citizens forum. It’s all about getting back the trees on the roadside specially on highways… By throwing away these seed balls. Which turns to a tree by few months along with the satisfaction of we saving our planet earth. All we need is mud, seed and cow dung. Farm a balloon these three and should let it dry completely.
This can be stored for 3 months in an air tight container and dispose in a open area on the way we pass through.
Seeds of mango, gooseberry, chikoo, lychee n many more seeds of fruits were used. Heartly thankful to Krupa for educating about seed ball.
Birthday celebrations of may and June born members was also held.
