Construction of Parallel Storm Water Drain in 4th Block is the dream project for the residents of Koramangala 4th Block especially those living on 5th Cross, 12th Main, 4th Cross, 3rd Cross and adjoining roads. Whenever it rains, these areas would get submerged with rainwater mixed with sewage and entered houses, till the water receded on the main Storm Water Drain. The residents through the Koramangala 4th Block RWA had been petitioning the elected representatives to get this problem and hardship solved once for all.
Over the years some of the residents have even sold the properties due to this problem. Many residents had even constructed walls in front of their main doors so that flooding rainwater does not enter their houses. City Kemp had been highlighting the problems and the 4th Block RWA had even petitioned to the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah three years ago citing the self explanatory report published in City Kemp.
