Hindi Divas was celebrated on 14th September at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Koramangala, to acknowledge the importance of the language.
The morning Assembly began as usual but it assumed a unique form when commands were given in Hindi. There were several programmes including recitation,speeches, skit and songs in Hindi. Sujata Gupta, a member of the faculty of Hindi department, passionately spoke about the importance of Hindi language.Prizes for different competitions were given away to the winners by the Principal Saroja Sridharan.
The programme ended with the Shanti Mantra.
