Cycle Day Koramangala held for the first time on 7th August 2016 was a smashing success. The turnout was fabulous — organizers had more than 700 people take over the streets of Koramangala. They came in all age groups and with a wide variety of activities there was something for everyone — from the Cycling to the Hop Scotch, outdoor chess to street football.
The spirit was tremendous and moving.  Koramangala got to see what can happen when we take back our streets. It was an event to remember.
It is tentatively planned to repeat Cycle Day on the 1st Sunday of the next 2 months — September and October so that those who missed it can come again. Minister for Transport Ramalinga Reddy and Corporator Ward 151, Chandrappa were also present.
The event was made possible through sponsors — Big Banyan Roots, Trusted Stay, Play Arena, Symbiosis Insitute of Management Studies and Grand Mercure Hotel.
