The portion of 5th Cross Road in 4th Block between 12th Main Road and 15th Main Road has been laid with concrete at last. For years it had been pending due to various reasons. Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy had got it sanctioned as soon as he became the Minister. When BBMP’s term expired and an administrator was appointed, all work orders that had been sanctioned were cancelled. Again, the 4th Block RWA and residents took up the matter with the Minister and one day an inspection was done by the administrator, BBMP Commissioner and the Minister himself to get release the sanctioned work order.
Then again it was kept pending due to laying of water lines and sewage lines. And this was completed only recently and hence the laying of conrete has been done.
Corporator M Chandrappa, BBMP AE Suresh, RWA representatives had been monitoring the work since Friday morning till we went for press. GM Shetty, President, Koramangala 4th Block Residents Welfare Association has thanked the Minister Ramalinga Reddy and Corporator M Chandrappa.
