Ganesha Chaturthi saw huge crowds at Ganesha Temple, KHB colony of Koramangala.
The cultural program in the evening began with melodious bhajans by Naadamayee group. The group is trained and lead by Shyamala Krishnan. The group consists of ladies from in and around Koramangala. Musically trained group is invited to sing on special occasions at several temples. The group consisting of local ladies has been getting a lot of recognition in Koramangala and a regular feature at local temples on festival days.
On occasion of Ganesha festival, there was laddu eating competition for ladies at the Ganesha Temple premises. As many as 10 member ladies took part in it. The 1st prize was bagged by Navya who ate 8 laddus, while Shilpa got the 2nd prize who consumed 7.
