FREE Wi-Fi at Bus Stands

KSRTC is first public Transport Operator in India to provide free Wi-Fi across both Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities on a trial basis. It is expected to benefit more than 1 lakh passengers daily. KSRTC has been provided under the brand name”I-On Wireless” by a Bangalore based Category-A ISP, “DVOIS Communications Private Limited” who is providing free public Wi-Fi at Bangalore, Mandya, Mysore, Madikeri, Hassan, Chikkamagalore, Dharmastala, Mangalore, Kundapura, Shivamoga, Harihara, Davanagere and Tumakuru now get to enjoy free Wi-Fi at KSRTC Bus Stations. It will be shortly extended to Kolar and Chitradurga Bus Stations as well.
Steps to access Wi-Fi:-
l Enable Wi-Fi on the device and select “ION Wi-Fi” from the available networks,
l Download FREE ION Wi-Fi App from ION Network or Google Play Store.
l For iPhone users, login page will appear through the browser or the application can be downloaded from iStore,
l Enter 10 digit mobile number and receive password over SMS, press submit,
l You are now connected to the Internet!!
Users may call 080-45114512/ 080-45114513 for any assistance. This is KSRTC’s contribution towards a DIGITAL INDIA! Once logged in, the facility can be enjoyed up to one hour or 100 MB, whichever is earlier.
