Annual Day of CSI Covenant Church

CSI Covenant Church, ST Bed Koramangala 4th Block recently celebrated tenth “Annual Day” with vigour and spirit. This being only one CSI Church in Koramangala neighbourhood, attracted many CSI member to join here for prayer services.
A small group of Koramangala residents at the beginning decided to gather and worship in a small place at 5th Block Koramangala. Later on the strength grew year after year. Ultimately, they bought a site from BDA at ST Bed Koramangala 4th Block and built their own Church.
The new church building was dedicated for worship during October 2005.
Covenant Church youth and Sunday School Students are deemed very competent and active in singing, Choir, biblical competitions. They bagged several prizes and awards for their credit.      Recently Church youths organised a Musical festival at Bishop Cotton Girls School Auditorium to commemorate 10th anniversary.
With the dedicated service of several members, ie Preetham Kumar, Late Benny Anchan, Christopher, Kishor Kumar, Sandeep Habick, Harshananda, Grace Anchan and others congregation grew strength to strength.                                                    While the activities of this Church grew, their need for space for Sunday school, space for parking, ground for sports activities etc. arised.
The then Pastor Rev. Ragu and Hon.Secretary, Kishor Kumar approached 4th Block resident social activist and DCC member Ravindra Kumar with a view to find a solution. Ravindra Kumar arranged several rounds of meetings with local MLA and Minister Ramalinga Reddy. Minister Ramalinga Reddy’s intervention and support solved almost all problems of this Church.
During this 10th anniversary the congregation remembers all those who supported them for all these years and prayed for their families.
