Kathalipalya residents a happy lot
Residents of Koramangala especially from Kathalipalya, Koramangala Village and 4th Block, where District Incharge Minister Ramalinga Reddy along with the newly elected Corporator Chandrappa took part in the launch of works to replace four decades old sewage pipelines, had many a reason to feel elated on Thursday.
Their wish list that included complete replacement of old sewage pipelines and to put a check on contamination of drinking water, desilting of drains, proper supply of Cauvery water etc was accepted on the spot.
The Minister instructed officials to fulfil their wishes in a time-bound manner.
The Minister also agreed to replace with a bigger diametre sewage pipelines in Koramangala Village.
The launch function added colour as it is the madien programme of the newly elected Koramangala Ward 151 Corporator Chandrappa.
The sewage pipelines will be upgraded to 300 mm diametre and 225 mm diametre in all roads of Kathalipalya and Koramangala Club Road in 6th Block. Cost of works is estimated at Rs 15 lakh.
BWSSB Additional Chief Engineer Nagarajappa, Executive Engineer Satish, Assistant Executive Engineer Lakshmikanth, residents from various blocks of Koramangala, representatives of various RWAs and others were present.
