There has been a spate of activities at Samskruthi Ladies Association. On the 18th of June there was a talk by a very eminent speaker-Dr Pradnyas, a physiotherapist and HOD of Nimhans. She gave a very informative and interesting talk on women’s health-From womb to tomb.
On the 2nd of July was the group singing competition. There were three very eminent judges- Shymala Krishnan,a well known vocalist, Sheela, an engineer whose passionate about music and Vatsala, a retired college lecturer.
The participating teams came dressed in distinctive attire and colour and enthralled the members with their melodious rendition of songs in different languages.
The winning team in green and gold-Tara Prabhu, Saraswathi Kaushik, Geetha Kundar, Chandrika jayaprakash and Mamtha Satyanarayana sang a melodious Janapada Geethe to steal the show.
