14 MORE CITIES IN STATE TO GET CITY BUS SERVICE

city kempApart from the 20 cities that currently has city bus services running, 14 more cities will get added to the city bus network in the State.
As many as 1,080 new buses are being procured to improve public transport network in 34 cities in the state, excluding Bengaluru.
Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy said 800 buses would be bought for Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and 280 for those cities covered under North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC), which will be put into service at Belagavi, Sirsi, Karwar, Chikkodi, Bagalkot, Haveri, Ranebennur, Hubballi-Dharwad.
Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Shivamogga, Ramanagara, Bhadravati, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Sagar etc are among the cities that will see new city bus services.
Hyderabad Karnataka (NEKRTC) cities where city buses services already exist are seeing an addition to their fleet.
