city kemp

city kempResidents of Koramangala 1st Block and ST Bed are worried about a multi-dwelling high rise planned near the Shantinagar Cooperative Society area in ST Bed Koramangala.
The project, “Prestige Pinewood” promoted by a leading Bengaluru real estate major, will have a total of ground plus 14 floors with more than 250 dwelling units.
Residents of 1st Block and ST Bed Koramangala who are already facing heavy traffic congestion to exit their area particularly at the junction of 7th Cross and 80 ft road (Kamal Bakery Junction) and at the Maharaja Junction, are wondering how the already congested junctions will handle another 600 cars entering and exiting the area.
So also the area is burdened with the traffic entering from Inner Ring Road to ST Bed 1st A Main, 1st Main and exit near the Kamal Bakery junction.
The entire area demarcated for the Shantinagar Cooperative Society is over 60 acres. With this project occupying only 2.75 acres, residents are understandably worried about the future if other parcels of land here also get converted into high rise structures.
Residents of the area are planning to approach the authorities with their difficulties and request them not to give approval to the project
