Nirmala/swachha Koramangala initiative – cleaning awareness programme taken up by Koramangala 4th Block Residents’ Welfare Association and BBMP was launched by Koramangala Ward Corporator Kokila Radhakrishna at Rectangular Park in 4th Block on Friday.
On that day, residents, RWA office bearers under the presidentship of G M Shetty along with pourakarmikas cleaned the streets, vacant sites and drains in the 4th block and 4th C Block. All the garbage collected was cleared off on the same day. The gathered residents were divided into small groups joined the pourakarmikas to clean up the streets.The RWA is thinking of holding such programmes once in a while.
