Around 25 children between 5- 15 years of age, of Bal Vikas, ST Bed Layout, came forward to spread the message of Clean India to residents of ST Bed Layout at Ranga Mantapa on Sunday evening.
Swachta-Ek Koshish was organized to promote an idea that clean mind and clean houses will lead to clean nation and how each and every individual can participate in keeping neighborhood clean. The one hour program had performances from singing, dancing to skit performances followed by gift distribution to all the kids. The event was graced by kind presence of ST Bed Layout RWA President Rajendra Babu, Secretary Mohan Raju and GeetaNadkarni They extended full support and encouragement to the kids and the effort to spread the message of cleanliness to fellow residents. While addressing the participants and audience, RajendraBabu said that, ” Children are the future of tomorrow and it is the right age for them to inculcate these social values and civic sense among children.
Some of the Children performed very well and seeing them perform so confidently Mohan Raju quipped they have a bright future. Presence of more than 50-60 enthusiastic audience, volunteers and participants made this attempt successful and enjoyable.
