Kendriya Sadan Kannada Sangha organised Kannada Rajyotsava in a grand manner recently at Kendriya Sadan premises in Koramangala which was sponsored by the Central Sangeeta and Nataka Academy. As amany as 14 persons who retired recently and who were due to retire were honoured by the Sangha on that day.
The function began with a grand procession and Samarpana Samaskrithika Kala team sang songs and performed cultural programmes. Former Minister Dr B T Lalitha Naik presided. CPWD (South Zone) Chief Engineer R K Soni was the chief guest. Other guests were Dr L Devanand, Senior Medical Officer, Health and Family Welfare; Dr R P Joshi, Senior Medical Officer, CGHS. Sanmilan troupe sang the State anthem. M Chandrashekar President of the Sangha spoke. Earlier Anandmurthy welcomed the gathering and also proposed a vote of thanks in the end. Executive Engineer Lakshminarasimha and Assistant Engineer Manjunath sponsored for sweets and snacks.
