The Bangalore Malayalee Catholic Association, Koramangala in association with Narayana Hrudayalaya conducted a free medical & heart  check up camp for the poor. The location was St. Francis School on Sarjapur Road in Koramangala and held on Sunday, (December 14)  between 9 am and 1.30pm.
The camp was inaugurated by Ln Chamundeshwari, wife of Minister for Transport Ramalinga Reddy. It was organized specially for underprivileged people living in Venkatapura, Mestripalya, Jakkasandra and adjoining areas. Sevasadan Brothers graciously gave permission to use the premises of their School for conducting the camp.
As many as 100 people were screened and a few serious cases were further referred to St John’s Medical College Hospital, and Narayana Hrudalaya Hospital.  The medical team from Narayana Hrudalaya headed by Dr Loyd Vincent rendered a great service. All people who were screened were also given a free shirt/ sari on behalf of BMCA. Many BMCA members volunteered their service in one way or the other to make the camp a great success.DSC_0394web5 DSC_0401web7 DSC_0403web9
