Yoga day was celebrated at Swabimana Park in Koramangala 4th Block on International Yoga Day under the guidance of yoga teacher Sarswathi N Manee. About 30 ladies took part in the Yoga Day. Regular classes are conducted in the Swabimana Park. It’s only for ladies. Many have been benefited from Yoga since then.
International Yoga Day was also observed at the Koramangala Club where several member-residents took part and performed asanas.
At Sanjjanaa Galrani’s Akshar Power Yoga Academy in Koramangala too cine star Sanjjanaa and residents performed Yoga to mark International Yoga Day.
National Service scheme of East West Institute of Technology in association with Narain Sewa Sansthan observed International Yoga Day, in which Yoga trainer taught the staffs and student of college, how to control blood sugar level, control cholesterol level , reduced weight , control hormonal imbalance through various assanas and kriyas .
Dr. Sachin Sinha registered Yoga Trainer said, Suryanamskara, Salavashana and Dhanurasanas, Instant Relaxation technique are the best to control diabetes & stress.
On this occasion, Dr. Chanakeshvalu K Principal of EWIT asked the students to do Yoga minimum for 10 minutes per day to keep them stress free. On this occasion Dr. Nagaswaroop , Dr. Prashant , Dr. Vonita, Dr. Swati Reddy, Dr. Prakriti Kumar , Manoj Kumar Sinha were actively participated .
