Koramangala 4th Block Residents’ Welfare Association had arranged a meeting on April 22 with Manvel Alur, Chief Executive Officer, Environmental Synergies in Development, and a resident of Koramangala.
In the presence of the RWA committee members, Ms. Alur explained in detail the collection of household electronic items and their disposal by recycling.
She also narrated that the E-waste boxes/bins are to be placed in various places for collection of E-waste. G. M. Shetty, President of the Association, said that all the members should cooperate in this regard and he also mentioned that collection of E-waste (electronic) items and its recycling will help in safeguarding the environment. Further, he assured that the Association will arrange boxes/bins in its office premises for collection of E-waste.
