Ladies from Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Koramangala visited the Primary Health Centre at Agara for monitoring the polio booth on National immunisation day on 2nd April. Pulse polio day was being observed on 2nd April .
On this day 120 volunteers went from house to house to administer the polio vaccine to all children below age of 5years. Polio drops were also given at the center. Due to these efforts India has successfully eradicated Polio from our country, but the danger still remains as some neighbouring countries are not polio free. The hard work of the volunteers was appreciated by Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Koramangala and a wholesome breakfast was distributed to all volunteers.
