The Koramangala 8th Block Samaja Seva Sangha is organising ‘SWACHH KORAMANGALA 8TH BLOCK PROGRAMME’ on Gandhi Jayanthi Day- 2nd October 2016 to honour the Father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi and support his thought of “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”.
This programme is a part of “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” of the Union Government.
Its aim is to bring in awareness of cleanliness, civic sense and active participation in the programme by residents of Koramangala 8th Block.
The BBMP, pourakarmikas and garbage contractors team are also participating in the programme.
The residents are requested to assemble with their own brooms in front of Corporation Bank, Koramangala 8th Block on 2nd October 2016 at 7.45 am to carry out a cleanliness drive from Corporation Bank 2nd Cross Road to Safal on 2nd Main Road and then upto Shiva Temple and its surroundings. The programme is likely to close at around 10.30 am. Please bring your children, grand children and neighbours for participation in this drive.
It is jointly organized by Members of Koramangala 8th Block Samaja Seva Sangha & Spoorthi Mahila Sangha.
