Yoga for Mom, on Mother’s day With BeautifulYears.com

yogackHatha Yoga, or what we know as simply “yoga”, is said to be founded by Lord Shiva, and passed on to us humans by a fish, who overheard the lessons he was giving to Parvati, and went on to became the first siddha hatha yogi. While this is a legend, the fact is that the practice of hatha yoga has proven beneficial, especially for seniors. Studies have shown that regular practice of yoga can effectively combat stress, fatigue and pain.
Certain yogic postures increase strength, flexibility and balance, thus preventing fall-related injuries. And of course, it makes you look and feel younger!
On 7th May, 10 30 – 11 30 am, you are invited to a very special yoga class for seniors, at the BeautifulYears.com premises in Koramangala. The class will be conducted by Grinshina Karthik, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), who has a lot of experience with special sessions for seniors. This class will be focussed in improving strength and balance; Grinshina will be customising key yoga postures to make them gentle and enriching for your body. Seniors of all ages, even 80+ can attend this class; all you have to do is to finish your breakfast at least an hour before the class.
For all ladies attending the session, we have a special Mother’s Day surprise and celebration post the class! So go on, nominate your mom for this class, and better still, bring her yourself and bond with her over yoga!
