Garbage filled Storm Water Drain continue to pose problem for Koramangala ST Bed residents.
Unhealthy condition exists posing danger of epidemic say the residents of 1 st main and neighbour hood.
On Minister Ramalingareddy’s instruction, Siddegowda Chief Engineer SWD visited the area and promised the ST Bed Residents’ Welfare Association to get the garbage removed.but nothing has been done so far. The hitachi machine of a contractor failed to enter SWD and returned said Prasad of ST Bed RWA.
Another resident Ananthram says that BBMP laxity in proper action is deplorable.They don’t have plan and proper machinery to remove garbage from drain, he said and further added that BBMP should seek help from Indian Institute of Science or any other department to design proper machines to clear garbage from SWD.
Depending on outdated earthmovers is of no use. It is the time State Govt. should intervene and save Bengaluru.
