The Karnataka Government has built many new garbage processing plants to handle Bengaluru’s garbage issues.
Located at Lingadheernahalli, Doddabidrakallu, Subbrayanapalya, Seegehalli, Kannenahalli and Chikka-nagamangala, these plants can process segregated waste upto 1800 tonnes. They were built in the last 8 months. Karnataka Government has also signed a MoU with the Netherlands government for waste-to-energy technology to dispose of Bengaluru’s waste.
