On the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava Day, Koramangala 4th Block Residents’ Welfare Association has conducted Sports Day on Saturday (October 31). Several sports events such as running race, lemon and spoon race, one legged race, basketball shooting, lemon and spoon race, Rangoli competition, painting competition, walking race etc., for residents of all ages, were conducted. About 450 to 500 residents participated in the event.
M Chandrappa, Corporator, Ward no. 151, Koramangala, presided over the function. G M Shetty, President of the association, while welcoming Chandrappa, Corporator, has requested him to expedite the storm water drain work, providing playground and other civic amenities. The Corporator has assured to tackle the above works on priority basis. Govardhan Reddy, Koramangala Ward Congress President, also graced the occasion.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks to all the participants and residents.
