August marks the the beginning of the festive season and the meeting of Samskruthi Ladies Association on the 6th of August was filled the joy and spirit of festivity.In keeping with this spirit, the Association kick started their celebration by awarding scholarships to 10 deserving students of 8th, 9th and 10th of Franciscan School.
Varamahalakshmi Habba was celebrated with a competition to decorate the kalasa. It was keenly contested and the judges had a real hard time short listing the winners.
The winners were 1st prize-Bhagyalakshmi, 2nd prize-Swarnalatha and 3rd prize-Chandana.
The members also enjoyed a game of pictionary, which really tested their drawing skills.
