The Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah has approved the participation of a delegation of women from the State in the WEConnect’s International Conference and Business Fair to be held at Austin, Texas from June 23 to 25.
The delegation will be led by K Ratna Prabha, Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce and Industries Department. CM said that women entrepreneurs are inspirational and considering the potential of women entrepreneurs from the State, this sort of interactions are important for the State’s development and gender parity.
The delegation consists of 22 members from FKCCI, Bengaluru; eMERG, Bengaluru, and KCCI, Hubballi. Delegation will apprise US-based MNCs of investment opportunities in Karnataka and prospects for women entrepreneurs. Also, the delegation will get an opportunity to network with various business organisations / industries.
