Here is a website called EasySeams started by two friends – Soumya and Anupama who vow to solve all these problems. EasySeams has been started for women who love to wear custom-made Indian ethnic wear, they say. Not only that, EasySeams aims to solve those problems by providing a simple online interface.
The website (www.easyseams.com) allows users to design ethnic wear and provide custom measurements. Customers can provide their own fabric or choose one from the collection of fabrics available on the website. Customers can provide custom measurements online or send over a well-fitting garment as a measurement sample. The website also provides a variety of embellishments and danglers to enrich the look of the outfit.
Once an order is placed on the website, the EasySeams team will pick up fabrics from your doorstep, have the garment tailored as per the specifications, and ship it back within 10 days. Shipping is currently free within India, and tailoring charges begin at Rs.599.
The site also features a small collection of ready-to-ship sarees, blouses and kids’ wear – these are curated from boutiques in Bangalore, and you may expect to see a much larger collection soon.

With over 8 years of corporate experience each in consulting and technology, they aim to bring a smooth and professional experience to the thousands of Indian women who love to customize and tailor-make their ethnic wear.
About the founders
Soumya KS is an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. She has 8 years of consulting and technology experience, primarily at Deloitte Consulting and Bosch.
Anupama K H is a former IT professional who has 7 years of experience in software development at RBEI. She lives in Bangalore with her husband and adorable twin daughters.
