As children look forward to the first day of school, the ladies of Samskruthi Ladies Association were eagerly waiting for the first meeting of their association on the 3rd of June at The Indian Heritage Academy and gathered in large numbers.
The meeting started with the prayer and then the outgoing president Kalpana Chandrakumar introduced and installed the new president Gayathri Madan. She introduced the office bearers and the committee members. Secretary Radha Santhakumar, Joint secretary Vasumathi Srinath, Treasurer Antoinette Vincent, Joint treasurer Shubha Salian, Malini Khandige, Sudha Rao, Ponnu Somanna, Supriya Raghunath and Latha Krishnamurthi as committee members.
The new committee has a lot of interesting programs lined up for the coming months, talks by eminent speakers, interesting competitions and exciting picnics.
The members enjoyed a quiz on food and cooking and were treated to mouth watering snacks by Soulful readymade foods.
The next meeting will be at Indian Heritage on 18.6.2015 and there will be a talk by Dr Pradnya, HOD, physiotherapy, NIMHANS.
