Individual events in the One Dream Corporate Table Tennis Tournament 2015 were conducted on Feb 8 and 14 at MSSTTA, Bengaluru.
Dinakar Naidu (Spin & Speed) annexed Triple Crown in style. Naidu, who narrowly escaped from the jaws of defeat at the hands of Ganapati Pai (SAP) in SF made a short work of Krishnarjun (G T Nexus) in the final, though he conceded a game in the process. Partnerng with Harpreet Singh, he clinched Men’s Doubles beating Aravindan B (Dell) and Suman(IBM) 09-11, 8-11, 11-9, 11-9 11-9.
Earlier combining with Aishwarya N (Cognizant), Naidu bagged the Mixed Double title, defeating Namita & Raghuraj (Accenture) in an another 5 games affair Indeed a rare achievement in Corporate TT Tournament. Kudos to Naidu.
It was Ganapati Pai (SAP) who stole the show when he valiantly fought against Dinakar Naidu in the Men’s Singles Semi Final, extending the eventual winner to five games, the decider being 10-12.
He also scalped the Top Seed Harpreet Singh in the Semi Final of Men’s Singles 35+ in four set and won the Title , winning over Chandrasekhar T (G T Nexus) in the final 15-13, 9-11, 8-11, 11-9, 11-8. Predictably Ganapati Pai was adjudged player of the tournament.
